Political analyst and social critic and founder of ‘Sisimuka Uganda, Frank Gashumba has revealed that the armored car owned by National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine was a gift from the government.
According To Gashumba, Bobi Wine owns the same exact type of armored car like that of First Son who also doubles as the Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
“Tell me one opposition politician who drives an armored car. The car that Kyagulanyi drives was given to him by the government. The same car that he drives is the same car that government gave to Gen. Muhoozi,” Gashumba said.
Bobi Wine’s armored Toyota Land cruiser made news last year when it first arrived in the country but was confiscated by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) which ordered Bobi wine to pay Shs.380 million in taxes.
However, the car was later released after president Museveni wrote to URA instructing them to clear the car at no cost. It was handed back to Bobi Wine.
Gashumba further revealed that NUP is a project of the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) adding that the party was created by Museveni to crush the legitimate opposition from Dr. Kizza Besigye and the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).
Gashumba also accused the top leadership of NUP of being traitors to their supporters claiming that they are flying in and out of the country throwing parties, and building mansions while supporters are rotting in jail.
According to Gashumba, Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi frequents State House Entebbe to receive bags of money yet her husband keeps on calling Museveni a dictator while his family is enjoying money from the same president he calls a dictator.
Gashumba further revealed that if Ugandans want the truth, he will release evidence of videos and pictures of Barbie Kyagulanyi in State House with bags of money and several of their bank accounts where billions of money are sent by the government.
“I have proof that Barbie Kyagulanyi goes to the State House, and I will release the evidence very soon,” Frank Gashumba said.
