The English player Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whose parents are from the Congo, wants to establish a soccer academy there. He published a statement about it in the Telegraph.
“It will be an academy to allow people who will join it to have the experience that some of us here, in terms of soccer facilities, off the field with the gym and also education with classrooms,” he said.
The 25-year-old footballer came back to the purpose of this initiative in the British newspaper as well. Everyone has the same ambition, but some people are fortunate enough to live it while others are not, therefore I want to give something back and provide possibilities where there aren’t many.
