The reigning world champion country is opening its doors to the superstars of tomorrow,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “I would like to thank the AFA, and in particular its president Claudio Tapia, as well as the Argentine state, for their commitment to organizing this magnificent event at such short notice.”

The U20 World Cup will bring together 24 teams, four of which are African. Senegal, Gambia, Nigeria and Tunisia will represent the black continent.
