FINCA gives 1.3million facemasks to Education Ministry

Monetary establishment, FINCA Uganda and Bright Life Uganda, a sun powered organization, have given 1.3 million facemasks worth £120,000(approximately shs575 million) to the Ministry of Education and Sports to ease on the kickoff of schools in the country.
This was at a capacity administered by the First Lady and Minister of Education Janet Kataaha Museveni at the Kololo Independence grounds.
FINCA Uganda was addressed by the board administrator, Olive Lumonya, James Onyutta, the Managing Director, Robert Kakande , the Executive Director and Claire Ochiengs Akampurila ,the organization secretary while Bright Life was addressed by their board director, Daudi Migereko, James Ssemakadde , a board part and Laurynas Vaiciulis , the CEO.
Talking at the handover, Lumonya focused on that FINCA’s main goal intends to lighten neediness through enduring arrangements that assist individuals with building resources, make occupations and increase their expectations of living.
She noticed that this mission can best be accomplished when the majority are instructed and solid.
“These veils are a badge of help and appreciation to the clinical understudies in the tertiary foundations. On the off chance that COVID has shown us anything, it has encouraged us to be prepared with the specialized clinical HR to battle some other endemic or pandemic,” she said.
The Education Minister, Janet Kataaha Museveni praised FINCA and Bright Life for the “colossal gifts.
“It delights me when I see players from the private area meet up to help drives of the public authority. We are anxious to re-open schools so our students can go collect the much wanted information to assemble our country. Notwithstanding, the strength of our residents plays the all important focal point,” she said.
The gift was shipped off Uganda by FINCA UK.
