Family says Kibalama is battling Covid-19 but he’ll be fine

He said that doctors have done everything possible to resuscitate his health condition and he is currently getting better although he is still in the ICU.

Moses Kibalama Nkonge, the founder of National Unity Reconciliation and Development Party (NURP) that later transformed to the National Unity Platform (NUP) is battling with Covid-19 and he is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a family member has revealed.

The revelation followed reports that have been making rounds on social media that Kibalama has passed on, news that is not true according to Paul Ssimbwa, a family member and also a caretaker.

Kibalama is currently admitted at Bombo Military hospital and his situation is not alarming as it has been reported, according to Ssimbwa.

“I would like to clarify on the health of Moses Nkonge Kibalama regarding the information that was circulating on social media. Kibalama is still alive and he is still in a good shape and he is responding positively to his medication. He tested positive of Covid-19 when we took him to Bombo Military hospital,” Ssimbwa said.

He said that doctors have done everything possible to resuscitate his health condition and he is currently getting better although he is still in the ICU.

“He can eat and talk. He could not do it when we brought him to the hospital. We very much believe that he is going to get better soon. As a family we wanted to make this clarification because nobody consulted us about him when they posted wrong information regarding his health, “he said on behalf of the family.

Kibalama is the founding leader of National Unity, Reconciliation and Development Party (NURDP) which transformed into the National Unity Platform (NUP) currently headed by Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
