Emmanuel Okwi replaces Onyango as new Cranes captain
Veteran forward Emannuel Okwi who plays for Egyptian side Ittihad Alexandria FC has been named the new commander for Uganda Cranes.
Covered multiple times with 26 objectives for Uganda, Okwi assumes control over the rules of Dennis Onyango who declared retirement from the National group about a month prior.
Okwi, 28, will presently wear the armband as Uganda takes in South African National group, Bafana in an International amicable match booked for tenth June 2021, in Soweto.
