Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe’s agreement with colleague Bukayo Saka has further aggravated Manchester City’s wounds. Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus have received plaudits from the Arsenal star for their services to Mikel Arteta’s team.
Zinchenko and Jesus were allowed to join Arsenal by City last summer. It’s possible that the combined £75 million will prove to be the best investment north Londoners have ever made.

Smith Rowe, who has improved his fitness after spending months on the sidelines, acknowledges that his perception of the club changed as soon as Zinchenko and Jesus showed up.
“I could see the look on everyone’s face as to how ready everyone was from pre-season forward,” he claimed.
“It felt like the whole dynamic changed when people like Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus entered. They have experience and understand what it takes to succeed.
“I’d say without a doubt that a lot of it was due to them moving in because of their mentality, which has been beyond description. I’m shocked that Manchester City allowed them to leave. One of the most technically proficient players I’ve ever seen is Zenko.
“As a result, I wish to participate. The goal is to soon get my name back on the squad sheet for Arsenal while also getting some time on the field for England.
Saka praised Zinchenko and recognised the contributions that he and Jesus have made to Arsenal’s successes this season in advance of Sunday’s Euro 2024 qualifying game between England and Ukraine. Saka praised Zinchenko notably for his talent and capacity to control the game.
He is truly assisting us on all fronts because of his strong leadership skills. Since they (Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus) were there and won the league, they have brought that winning mindset to us.
Because we have many young players, they can support us during trying times because they understand how it feels. They are a great resource for the mental side of things.
