Deputy speaker promises to protect church land

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has promised to protect and defend the Catholic Church land and its other properties from the land grabbers, in her new position. Among’s pledge came as she participated in a thanksgiving mass at Lubaga Cathedral on Sunday following her election as Deputy Speaker of parliament. Jjingo Francis was in Lubaga as the Apostolic Administrator of Kampala Archdiocese, Bishop Paul Ssemwogerere was joined by his Masaka diocese counterpart Serverus Jjumba for the mass.
