COVID deaths clock 1,873 in Uganda

“The Ministry of Health, working with the COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Committee has (presently) concluded a clinical demonstrative basis for the presumed cases,” Dr Aceng said.

“In view of the abovementioned, the fit demise tally presently remains at 1,873 passings, bringing the casualty rate to 2.3%. Of these, 1,127 were PCR affirmed while another 726 are passings affirmed clinically as likely because of COVID-19.”

Dr Aceng said that going ahead, all passings will be accounted for progressively as either PCR affirmed or likely COVID-19 passings.

Uganda at present tallies 82,082 affirmed instances of the Coronavirus with 54,158 recuperations altogether.
