Accra Hearts of Oak traveled to Cape Coast on Saturday to face Kotoku Royals, a team that had just been promoted. At Dun’s Park, Bibiani Gold Stars defeated struggling King Faisal 2–1, giving the Phobians the lead from the penalty spot and giving them the maximum three points.

Accra Lions defeated Nsoatreman 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium, maintaining their perfect home record in the Ghana Premier.

In other areas of Berekum, Berekum Real Tamale United, who are in danger of being relegated, came from behind to humiliate Chelsea 2-1 in front of their home crowd, giving Chelsea the shock of their lives. Karela defeated Bechem United 1-0 in another victory in Aniyinase at the CAM Park.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko overcame a deficit to defeat Samatex and secure all three points. Three minutes into the second half, Samatex scored. Nicholas Mensah helped Asante Kotoko shift gears and equalize before Augustine Agyapong flawlessly sealed the comeback with a free kick.
