Coca-Cola has unveiled its distinctive Christmas caravan, in keeping with its holiday season tradition, to share the pleasure of Christmas with Ugandans in various towns across the country.
The formal flag-off ceremony of the Coca-Cola caravans from the Coca-Cola Bottling Africa factory in Namanve kicked off the celebrations that will go until Christmas day.
The caravans will now travel to other towns across the country, surprising inhabitants with a variety of products such as miscellaneous gifts, soft drinks, and food to assist them in preparing for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“Bringing joy to our consumers and communities by sharing with them and preparing them for the Christmas festivities is one of Coca-oldest Cola’s serving traditions around the world.
Because many Ugandans are still healing from the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak, this custom is especially vital this year.
“As we celebrate Christmas this year, we want to offer true magic to individuals, families, and communities, restore hope and trust in their lives, and remind them that magic is all around us,” said Vivienne Olenyo, Coca-Cola East And Central Africa Franchise Frontline Marketing Manager – Uganda.
According to Isaac Sekasi, Commercial Director of Coca-Cola Bottling Africa Uganda, 2021 has seen the company make significant progress in further empowering Ugandans by supporting the BUBU agenda with products such as Ades Nutri-Bushera, which is made from locally available millet.
“During the holiday season, the Coca-Cola Christmas trucks are one of the most popular traditions, known for bringing Santa to the people with truckloads of cheer and drinks, food, and gifts to share. It’s time to take a breather and rediscover magic, especially during the holidays. As a result, Coke asks us to refocus, because all it takes to perceive true magic is a fresh perspective on life. “It’s a red lens,” Sekasi explained.
