Tuesday, November 14, the Senegalese Professional Football League Disciplinary Committee strongly sanctioned Diambars. The LSFP declared that Mbour lost 0-3 against Sonacos at the Lat Dior Stadium on Matchday 2 of Ligue 1 for refusing to go to Thiès. There was a 300,000 CFA franc punishment. Sonacos won 3 points.
Diambars and Génération Foot were ineligible to host league games. Since then, the League and two academies have been in difficulty.
