Chelsea found a new striker in Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku had just come back to Chelsea in August, and in his first match back, he netted twice, scoring in three consecutive games.

As a kid, Romelu Lukaku wanted to be Chelsea’s number nine and is now ready to score goals in the Champions League.

Lukaku made his mark at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, as his brace helped propel Chelsea to a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa.

Lukaku had just come back to Chelsea in August, and in his first match back, he netted twice, scoring in three consecutive games.

Following his return to Chelsea, after his €105 million move from Inter Milan this past offseason, Lukaku, who had previously played for the Blues from 2011 to 2014, is now back with the club.

The Chelsea Football Club stadium where he idolized players as a boy, 28-year-old Lukaku’s first-ever goals at the club’s home ground were scored in his 15th appearance at the venue.

The young striker was annoyed to never get on the scoresheet for Chelsea when he first came to the club, due to his admiration for Didier Drogba and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

When he scored against Villa, his emotions ran wild with excitement.

“Since I was eleven, it’s always been my dream. I’ve put in a lot of work to achieve this success “Lukaku put it this way, according to those sources.

“I fluctuated early in my career, but I have been steady for the last three years. With effort and time. I keep working, no matter what.”

Despite leaving Chelsea in pursuit of regular first-team football, Lukaku was a very young and unproven player.

On the football, his strong shooting skills improved throughout his time at Inter, while off the pitch, he gained more experience in his time in Italy.

Many people, including some at Manchester United, thought Lukaku was a flat-track bully and was too inconsistent for his team’s biggest games. Therefore, he felt he needed to sharpen his skills in Serie A.

Chances may be hard to come by with many Italian clubs deploying defensive tactics, but Lukaku was still able to take Inter to their first title in 11 years last season.

After joining Chelsea, he has scored 64 goals in 95 outings and has been consistent in maintaining his momentum.

“Playing in Italy, I found myself in a league where I got maybe one or two scoring opportunities every game, so I had to take them. I’m extremely pleased with the current status of things, and we’re pressing further “Lukaku remarked,

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been surprised by Lukaku’s tactical and personality characteristics, which stand in stark contrast to his reputation at Manchester United.

Lukaku’s abilities as the attacking spearhead might be critical in Chelsea’s attempts to recapture the Champions League while simultaneously becoming Premier League champions.

After taking over for Frank Lampard, Tuchel single-handedly revived Chelsea’s season last year.

In their second Champions League triumph, Chelsea won thanks to German player Josef Schmidt’s exceptional motivating ability and ingenious game-plans that bested the best of Europe.

Even throughout the run to the Europa League title, it was obvious that Tuchel would be helped by having an attacker more aggressive than Timo Werner, Olivier Giroud, and Tammy Abraham.

When Dortmund gave Erling Braut Haaland a price tag that he couldn’t meet, Tuchel made Lukaku his number one target.

Werner is currently serving as a bit-part player on the club due to Lukaku’s arrival.

He enjoys having it.

“We made a decent beginning, but we’re far from finished. This year is going to be difficult with how competitive it is. there will be a lot of teams fighting for the championship “Lukaku mentioned.
