Chelsea: Aubameyang reacts to Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal

Before Thomas Tuchel was fired, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had just rejoined his former coach at Borussia Dortmund at Chelsea.

The Gabon international commented on the German coach’s dismissal following Wednesday’s Champions League 1-1 draw with Salzburg.

The Panther declared, “Everyone knows the connection I had with Thomas. When someone leaves the club, it is always sad. I obviously simply had a brief encounter with him. In order to play soccer, you often need to adjust fast to changing conditions.”

Since his departure, the Gabonese has not yet communicated with his former coach. But he intends to: “Naturally, I’ll try to chat to him as I believe he was a little upset and sad.
