Tusker Malt Lager, Uganda’s finest premium lager, is gearing up for the launch of its internet music property, Tusker Malt Conversessions.
The season finale, which will air on Tusker Malt Lager’s official YouTube account on Sunday, March 6, will feature living great Jose Chameleone.
Chameleone, who has been on the music scene for more than two decades, is perhaps one of Uganda’s greatest musical talents, both historically and currently.
Chameleone’s rockstar status has catapulted him into Uganda’s most divisive entertainment figure, with his actions, lifestyle, and music generating immediate attention. The star’s career has been marred by controversy, so having him clear the air is important.
The Tusker Malt Conversessions’ inaugural season brought the online show to viewers with a lineup of excellent performers, including Winnie Nwagi, Naava Grey, GNL Zamba, Allan Toniks, and King Saha, whose efforts will be summed up by Chameleone, the’musical godfather.’
The show’s popularity has skyrocketed since its beginning, with the most recent episode garnering a record 120,000 YouTube views for Chameleone’s protégé, King Saha.
During the Covid-19 shutdown, the show was created to give a platform for live music performances. The country’s default entertainment settings have since been restored, with the ban on entertainment and gatherings lifted.
Given the new freedoms, the show is expected to bounce back with new innovations and segments following the conclusion of Season One.
Fans of the online musical property have been requesting to be a part of the recording audience as the show’s popularity has grown, and this could be one of the upcoming changes fans can look forward to in the show’s second season.
While waiting for Chameleone’s episode, fans can watch earlier episodes of the show on Tusker Malt Lager’s official YouTube channel, Tusker Malt Ug.
