Mark Bugembe a.k.a. Buchaman, the self-proclaimed Ghetto president, and his family have been evicted from the Ghetto State pad in Makindye’s Luwafu Parish due to rent arrears.

According to Luwafu Parish head of defense Mr. Ruben Ssempija Kalekezi, the former Firebase crew Vice President was evicted from the rental after failing to pay rent for six months.

Before Buchaman and his expectant wife Mama Ghetto were forcibly evicted, Kalekezi stated that they were initially served with a notice requesting that they pay rent for the three months they had gone without paying rent.

When they failed, they were given another three months to organize themselves in order to pay the rent, but they failed again, bringing the total time to six months.

They were forcibly evacuated as they approached the seventh month because the landowner intended to develop the region.

Mr. Kalekezi would not divulge how much the presidential advisor’s landlord was demanding, but he did say that Buchaman had left the house in good shape.

Buchaman used to intimidate his neighbors, but he stopped when he was hauled to Katwe Police Station, according to him.

Buchaman has been evicted from a rental property on several occasions.

Before he left his previous rental in Nameere, Namungo, his landlord, Mr. Kawooya, complained of the same problem, claiming he was a serial rent defaulter.
