Dubai arrest according to Bobi Wine

Former presidential candidate Bobi Wine, also known as Robert Kyagulanyi, claims to have been detained in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, the leader of the National Unity Platform touched down in Dubai.

It is currently 5 a.m. “I have been detained and questioned for eight hours,” Bobi Wine’s social media manager wrote on the account.

“They questioned me about NUP, its leaders, their contact information, my family, and my relatives!”

Despite having the required travel documents, according to Bobi Wine, the Dubai airport authorities took his phone and passport.
