The National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine has this afternoon called on all Ugandans to put their eyes on the ball now that the regime is starting to bow down to pressure.
Bobi made the remarks moments after securing bail for the remaining team of his supporters who’ve been in Kitalya for the last six months. He made his address at the NUP party headquarters in Kamwokya.
“We shall keep pushing until we bring this junta regime down. Getting our comrades out of prison is worth a celebration but lets focus on getting rid of Museveni and his regime.” Bobi Wine after the release of Eddie Mutwe, Nubian Li and 17 others. Bobi says the arrest was meant to weaken the struggle but nevertheless, Ugandans have to remain focused than never before. The 39 year old musician turned politician has given Gen. Yoweri Museveni sleepless nights for all the 4 decades he’s been in power as head of state since his ascension through the 1986 guerrilla war. Bobi says he won the 2021 general elections with 54.19% of the total votes though the Electoral Commission declared Museveni as the overall winner with 58% and gave Wine only 35%.
