Blame Gagamel – AgaNaga on receiving threats if anything bad happens to me or my family.
Sadat Mukiibi alias Kalifah AgaNaga, a singer and composer, has requested the public to hold the Gagamel family responsible for any harm that may befall him or any of his family members or close friends.
The “Ndabirawa” singer explains that he has been receiving threats from Bebe Cool’s music camp since he began seeking fair justice for his fellow songwriter Blackskin, who was imprisoned for the “Gyenvudde” song.
Taking to social media, the Bad Character Records boss revealed that a member of the Gagamel family called his biological brother to urge him to stay out of the Blackskin and Bebe Cool feud.
The feud between Blackskin and Bebe Cool erupted after the former revealed that the latter had broken a contract that forbade him from publishing his work without paying in full.
When Bebe Cool failed to pay his Shs500k debt to Blackskin, who had been demanding it for two years, he went to the studio and published a demo of the same song, causing Bebe to arrest and hold him.
As you read this, Blackskin is being held at Luzira Prison until December 9th, when he will appear in court for another hearing.
Blackskin was remanded for offensive communication against Bebe Cool, according to the charging document.
Blackskin is in need of our assistance and justice; this poor child is in jail because he was not paid. As a fellow songwriter, I understand what it’s like when someone uses your work to promote themselves in the public eye without compensating you.
Because of this Black Skin issue, someone from the Gagamel family phoned my genuine brother and sent me a frightening message; I’ll post their phone number in my future post.
Two wrongs don’t make a right, and anything that happens to me or my family is Gagamel’s direct retaliation. Take heed.
