Dublin, Ireland | BAZZUP | According to the Irish national radio and television channel RTE, visiting US President Joe Biden has announced his intention to run for president again.
Biden informed reporters before leaving Ireland at midnight Friday that he has decided to run for a second term and will make a formal campaign announcement soon.
On Wednesday, Biden arrived in Dublin for a three-day official visit. During his visit, Biden met with Irish President Michael D. Higgins and Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
Former United States President Donald Trump, a Republican who lost to Biden in the 2020 election but has refused to admit, announced his candidacy for president in the 2024 election in November.
