There is now less than three weeks remaining of the summer transfer window and the Gunners are looking to secure their fourth signing before it closes.
So far this summer, the north London club have welcomed Nuno Tavares from Benfica and Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht for modest fees. They have also splashed out £50million for England international Ben White.
However, Mikel Arteta is still determined to bring a new creative midfielder to the Emirates Stadium, as well as a back-up goalkeeper.
As well as this, there are plenty of names still being linked with moves away from Arsenal in the final weeks of the window.

Bernardo Silva rejects Arsenal switch
Portuguese transfer expert Felipe Dias has claimed that Manchester City wantaway Bernardo Silva has rejected a move to Arsenal as he wants to play in the Champions League next season.
Dias told Transfer Talk: “The information we have is that Bernardo has made it pretty clear that this is the right time for him to leave.
“He did want to go to Barcelona. He wanted to live in Barcelona and play for Barcelona but Barcelona is going through such a big crisis that I don’t think they can afford a player like him at the moment.
“The latest we heard is that Bernardo has rejected a move to Arsenal and if that is the case I think rightly so because I don’t think that would be a step forward in his career.”
Jokanovic gives Ramsdale update
Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic has given an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of Blades’ shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale after talks broken down over a move on Wednesday.
“Probably yes,” he told our sister title Yorkshire Live when asked if Arsenal were still interested in signing Ramsdale.
“He’s a very good goalkeeper. We are happy working with him, he is going to be expensive and we have no intention of selling him. I am thinking he will be the next game in my starting XI and that’s it. I hope he will stay with me for this season but that is not always under my control.”
Barcelona lining up surprise move for Lacazette
The Catalan giants recently parted ways with Lionel Messi, primarily because of financial difficulties, and because of Sergio Aguero’s latest injury, it has now been suggested that they are interested in signing Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette.
According to a report from Spanish publication Fichajes, Barcelona are keen on signing another forward before the summer transfer window closes and have set their sights on the Arsenal star.
