The stats of striker Armand Beadum are astounding. The ex-Elect Sport star gave his Thimphu City club the victory on Friday against Druk Lhayul (1-0), who are now in second place in the championship of Bhutan, a tiny Asian nation in the eastern Himalayas. Though Beadum has increased his goal total to 25 in 10 Premier League games, making him one of the world’s most prolific scorers, the news is not as anecdotal as it would seem. The Chadian joined Thimphu City in June after having previously played for a number of Nepalese teams, including Chyasal Youth, Lumbini, and APF Club.
