The State Minister of Karamoja Affairs, Hon. Agnes Nandutu, has been remanded to Luzira Prison until May 3, 2023.
Nandutu handed herself over to the police on Tuesday and was detained at Kira Police Station.
She was produced at Anti-Corruption Court in Kololo on Wednesday and charged with dealing with suspect property following the diversion of iron sheets meant for the Karachunas in the Karamoja Subregion.
She is the third Minister to be charged for involvement in the scandal.
