Arteta feels the lowest in his career after the loss to Manchester City

Arteta, who has been a source of stress due to the club's sluggish beginning, claims that the support of his family and the club has helped him endure the disappointment.

After Arsenal’s crushing loss to Manchester City placed them at the bottom of the league, manager Mikel Arteta described the result as his “lowest point.”

The Gunners finished dead last in the Premier League after the first four games of the season, starting with a humiliating 5-0 loss at City. Arsenal finally found their first win of the season at home in a 1-0 victory over Norwich City.

Arteta, who has been a source of stress due to the club’s sluggish beginning, claims that the support of his family and the club has helped him endure the disappointment.

“You’re angry, you’re upset, and you’re exhausted,” he continued.

“You just want to punch yourself because you messed up and believe you don’t deserve the results you had hoped for. I was absolutely at my lowest after losing to City.

“You start to assess and you hear other people’s viewpoints… It’s essential to have a family like mine; it includes my parents and my pals. They exhibit their dedication to your partnership at difficult times.

“Then, for everyone in the club, from the upper echelons to the service staff, their aspirations, and the excitement with which they undertake their role.”

Arsenal will play in Burnley this Saturday in their next league encounter.
